If you want to wake up your 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si or 2013-2015 Acura ILX, the DC Sports Short Ram Intake is a simple upgrade that you'll feel. Built for the 2.4L K24Z7, it replaces the restrictive factory airbox with smooth, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing so the engine breathes easier and responds quicker when you get into the throttle.

Sharper Response, Better Sound

You'll notice sharper throttle response and a livelier feel through the RPM range as soon as you press the gas. The other half of a short ram is the sound: with this system you get a deeper, more aggressive intake tone as the K24Z7 pulls through the revs. It adds some personality without being overwhelming at a cruise. And because the filter sits higher in the engine bay instead of down in the wheel well like a cold air setup, it also reduces the chance of water ingestion.
