Competition Clutch Stage 1.5 Organic Clutch, 94-01 Integra
If the clutch in your 94-01 Integra is starting to slip on third gear pulls, or you have a bolt-on B18 that is asking more of the stock disc than Honda ever intended, the Competition Clutch Stage 1.5 organic clutch kit (part 8026-1500) is the low-drama fix. It holds more torque than stock while keeping the pedal feel and smooth engagement your DC2 or DB8 had when it left the factory.
What It Is and Why It Works
This is Competition Clutch's Gravity Series 1500 kit for hydraulic B series transmissions: a higher clamp load pressure plate paired with a full face organic disc on a sprung hub. The full face design is the reason it drives like stock. There is no puck style grab, no chatter pulling away on a hill, just a wider holding margin. Competition Clutch rates the torque capacity increase at 40 to 50 percent over stock per manufacturer, which comfortably covers a B18B LS, a B18C1 GSR, or a B16 swap running intake, header, exhaust, and a tune.
The kit includes the pressure plate, the organic disc assembly, all applicable bearings, and an alignment tool, so you are not chasing down a throwout bearing the night before the job. One hard rule from Competition Clutch: do not run this kit with forced induction or nitrous. Turbo, supercharged, and spray cars need a Stage 2 or higher kit. This one is built for naturally aspirated street power, and it is honest about that.

Fitment
| Year | Make | Model | Trim | Engine |
| 1994-2001 | Acura | Integra | RS, LS, GS, SE (manual) | B18B1 |
| 1994-2001 | Acura | Integra | GS-R (manual) | B18C1 |
| 1997-2001 | Acura | Integra | Type R (manual) | B18C5 |
This kit fits hydraulic B series transmissions only. If you have a 90-93 DA Integra with the cable actuated clutch, this is not your kit; Competition Clutch makes a separate cable version. Competition Clutch's catalog also cross lists this same 8026-1500 kit for other hydraulic B series applications, including the 99-00 Civic Si (B16A2), 94-97 del Sol VTEC (B16A3), and 97-01 CR-V (B20), so a B series swap running a hydro transmission is covered too.
What to Know Before You Buy
The flywheel is not included, and reusing a worn one is the fastest way to ruin a fresh clutch. Have your flywheel resurfaced or replace it while the transmission is out. Competition Clutch's lightweight flywheel for the 90-01 Integra pairs naturally with this kit and wakes up throttle response on a B18. While you are in there, inspect the rear main seal, the slave cylinder, and the clutch fluid. On a car this age those items are usually original, and doing them now saves you from pulling the transmission twice.
Take the break-in seriously. Drive the first 300 to 500 miles like a normal commuter, shifting often and staying out of full throttle launches, so the organic material beds into the pressure plate and flywheel. Skip that step and you will glaze the disc and blame the clutch.
Be honest with yourself about the power plan. This kit is right for a stock to bolt-on naturally aspirated Integra that gets driven on the street, with the occasional canyon run or track day. If a turbo kit is anywhere in the build plan, buy the clutch for the car you are building, not the car you have today, and step up to a Stage 2 or higher unit. Buying Stage 1.5 twice costs more than buying the right stage once.
