Cometic Street Pro Top End Gasket Kit for D-Series 76mm - Part #PRO2032T / PRO2000T / PRO2001T
Three D-series heads, three kits, one listing. Pick your engine: PRO2032T for the D15B non-VTEC, PRO2000T for the D16Z6 SOHC VTEC, PRO2001T for the D16Y7 and D16Y8. Each is Cometic's Street Pro top end set with a 76mm 3-layer MLS head gasket and every seal to close the head, valve cover and manifolds, which is the box you want when a 25-year-old Civic finally blows its head gasket.
What It Is and Why It Works
Cometic's Street Pro top end kit is built around their 3-layer MLS head gasket: two Viton-coated stainless outer layers and a stainless center shim, rated to 250 C, that springs back after every heat cycle instead of taking a set. The rest of the kit is the soft parts you need to close a B-series head: valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, valve stem seals, and the small stuff that always turns out to be missing at 9 pm on a Sunday.
A top end kit only makes sense if the head is coming off anyway: a blown head gasket, a valve job, cams and springs, a head swap. Buying the pieces separately costs more and you'll forget one. Cometic sizes the head gasket bore to the engine family, so check that number against your block before you order.

Match the kit to the head, not the chassis. A D16Z6 swapped into an EF takes PRO2000T. The 88-91 D16A6 (Si, CRX Si) is a different head and is not covered by these three.
What to Know Before You Buy
Surface finish is everything with MLS. Cometic wants 50 RA or smoother on both the block and head; a rough or pitted deck will weep coolant no matter how carefully you torque it. Have the head checked flat and skimmed if it's been hot.
All three kits use a 76mm gasket, but the intake, exhaust and valve cover gaskets differ between the D15, Z6 and Y heads. Ordering by chassis year instead of by engine is how these come back.
Follow Honda's torque sequence and final angle with new head bolts or ARP studs. MLS gaskets do not like being reused or retorqued.
