This flywheel is a dedicated conversion flywheel designed to mate a K-Series engine to an S2000 F-Series manual transmission. In factory form, K-Series engines and S2000 F-Series transmissions are not intended to interchange, so there is no factory flywheel that directly supports this pairing. A conversion flywheel addresses that incompatibility by providing the correct fitment while supporting the S2000 transmission side requirements used in common K to S2000 conversion setups.

The FW-K2F-SF is a lightweight flywheel by nature. Steel construction is typically selected in swap applications when the goal is to retain the durability and thermal stability associated with a single piece steel flywheel design, while reducing rotating mass relative to heavier OEM style flywheels.

In order to reduce potential issues with fitment and function, Clutch Masters recommends using their FX100 K-Swap Clutch Kit for the S2000, as it was engineered specifically to fit this flywheel. The Clutch Kit is available to order here. In order to physically bolt on the transmission you will still need an adapter plate, but Clutch Masters helps remove some of the headache using this Flywheel and Clutch Kit pairing.
