PRODUCT DETAILS
Brembo OE Premium Coated Rear Rotor - Honda & Acura
Brembo is the name behind the brakes on everything from Ferraris to your daily driver, and this is their OE-quality rear rotor for a range of Honda and Acura chassis. It's a genuine Brembo replacement with a rust-resistant coating, which matters more on a rear rotor than people realize. Sized at 260mm to fit exactly where the factory rotor came off.
The Coating Is The Reason To Buy Brembo Here
Worth understanding, because it addresses a specific annoyance with rear rotors.
Rear brakes do less work than fronts, which means rear rotors don't wear their surfaces clean the way fronts do. The result is that the non-contact areas, the hat, the edges, the vents, rust quickly, and you end up with a rotor that looks corroded within weeks even though it's functionally fine.
Brembo's coating resists that. The rotor stays looking clean rather than developing surface rust the moment it's exposed to weather, which on a car with open wheels where the rotor is visible actually matters. And the coating protects the areas that don't self-clean, extending the rotor's life.
On a front rotor the coating burns off the friction surface immediately and the point is mostly cosmetic. On a rear, where less heat and pressure means slower wear, it does real work.
Genuine Brembo, Not A Copy
This is an OE Premium rotor from Brembo, made to the standard they supply to manufacturers.
Grey cast iron in a solid rotor design, precisely machined for consistent braking and true running. Cheap rotors warp, develop runout, and pulse the pedal under braking. A properly made rotor from a company that supplies OEMs doesn't, which is the difference between brakes you think about and brakes you don't.

Do Them In Pairs, And Check Your Pads
Practical brake advice worth stating.
Replace rear rotors as a pair, not one side. Braking should be even across the axle, and a fresh rotor on one side with a worn one on the other gives you uneven braking and a pull.
And check your pads while you're in there. If they're worn, do them at the same time, since fresh pads bed better against fresh rotors and you're already in the caliper. New rotors against worn pads means the pads don't seat evenly on the new surface.
