BC Racing BR Series Coilovers - 1994-2001 Acura Integra (Rear Fork, RS Type)

Ready to ditch the blown factory struts or that saggy spring-and-shock combo and actually dial your Integra in? BC Racing's BR Series is where most people start, and for good reason. It's the most affordable way into real coilovers without giving up build quality, ride comfort, or the ability to tune the car, so you get proper height adjustment, 30 clicks of damping, and spring rates that were picked for this chassis instead of guessed at. This is the rear fork setup with RS type rubber top mounts, so make sure that matches your car, more on that below.

What You Actually Get Over Springs And Shocks

Here's the part that matters most, and it's the thing cheap setups get wrong. On the BR Series, your ride height adjusts independently of spring compression. Translation: you lower the car by adjusting the lower mount, not by cranking down on the spring, so you keep your suspension travel and the damping stays working the way it should. That's the whole difference between a car that's slammed and rides like garbage, and a car that's low and still soaks up a bad road. Add in 30 clicks of compression and rebound adjustment (adjusted together with one knob) and you can actually tune the ride, soften it up for your commute, firm it up for a canyon run or track day, all without touching a wrench to anything else.

Spring Rates That Aren't Punishing

This set comes with 9 kg/mm front and 4 kg/mm rear springs, which is BC's standard rate for the Integra, and it's a genuinely well-sorted setup for this chassis. BC tests each application and picks rates that balance comfort and performance instead of just throwing the stiffest thing they've got at it, which is exactly how a lot of brands leave you oversprung and miserable. These rates give you real body control when you're pushing it, and they're still livable when you're just driving to work. And if you've got something specific in mind, custom spring rates and Swift springs are available, along with custom valving to match.

How Low It Sits

Let's set your expectations properly. At the highest setting, these put the car right around an inch below stock ride height, so even maxed out, it's lower than factory. Wound all the way down, you're looking at roughly 2.5 to 3 inches below stock. That's a big usable range, so whether you want a mild, functional drop or you're going aggressive, you can get there and fine-tune it exactly where you want.

About The RS Type Rubber Top Mounts

This kit is the RS type, which means rubber top mounts. Here's what that means for you: the rubber isolates more road noise and vibration from the cabin, so it's the friendlier choice for a street-driven Integra you're not trying to turn into a race car. If you want a set of coilovers you can daily without the car transmitting every expansion joint into your spine, RS is the way to go. Just know you're not getting a camber plate with the rubber top mount setup, so if you're chasing adjustable camber, plan on separate camber hardware.

Important: This Is The Rear Fork Version

Read this before you order. This kit is built for the rear fork setup, meaning the rear shock mounts through a fork rather than bolting directly. That's the design your Integra uses, but it's the kind of detail worth confirming against your car before you buy, especially if the rear suspension has been swapped or messed with by a previous owner. Get that confirmed and everything bolts up where it should.

Built To Last, And Rebuildable

BC builds these with a mono-tube shock design and a linear piston and damping curve, so the damping stays predictable through the whole stroke instead of getting weird at the extremes. They're backed by a 2-year warranty against manufacturer defect, and here's the big one, they're fully rebuildable. So years down the road when they're finally worn, you send them in and get them refreshed instead of buying a whole new set. That's what separates real coilovers from the disposable stuff.
