BC Racing BR Series Coilovers - 2017-2020 Honda Civic Si (FC1 / FC3)

The 10th gen Si holds a spot most people don't think about until it's gone. It was the last Civic Si you could get as a coupe. Once the FC3 wrapped up, Honda went sedan-only, so if you're sitting on a two-door FC3 or a four-door FC1, you've got one of the last of a real body style. These BC Racing BR coilovers are how you make that car handle and sit the way it always should have from the factory.

Fits Both The Coupe And The Sedan

This kit covers the full 2017-2020 Civic Si run. It bolts to the FC3 coupe and the FC1 sedan the same way, so you don't have to hunt for a body-specific part number. Whichever Si you've got, this is the set that fits it.

What The BR Series Does For Your Si

The Si comes from the factory riding a little taller and softer than the chassis deserves. There's real handling hiding under there, and stock suspension keeps it just out of reach. The BR Series pulls it out. You get 30 levels of damping adjustment, so you dial it firm for a track day or an aggressive backroad, then soften it back down for the commute without ever touching a spring. The springs come rated at 7kgf/mm up front and 5kgf/mm out back, which is a smart street-and-track balance that tightens the body up without punishing you over rough pavement. Ride height adjusts off the bottom mount instead of the spring, so you keep full shock travel no matter how low you go. You drop the car, kill the body roll, and hang onto a ride that's still livable every day.

About The Top Mounts

This kit uses RA type mounts, and that's good news if you like to get your alignment right. You get a pillowball or camber top mount up front, so front camber is adjustable straight out of the box. That means you can dial in the exact stance and grip you want without buying extra plates first. The rear runs a rubber or reuse-OEM mount to keep things quiet and simple. For a car people actually drive hard, having that front camber adjustment built in is exactly what you want.

Standard Or Extreme Low, Your Call

This one comes in two flavors, so you pick based on how low you're going. The standard kit is the right choice for most people. It gives you an aggressive, clean drop with plenty of adjustment and a ride you can live with. The extreme low kit is built for the crowd chasing a serious slam, with the geometry reworked so you can go way down without running out of suspension travel or beating up the shock. If you want a tasteful daily drop, grab standard. If you're building for max stance and you know what that ride trade-off means, extreme low is there for you.

Do The Job Right

The Si crowd loves to go low, so a word to the wise: do it right the first time. Set your ride height even side to side, use that front camber adjustment to get a proper alignment, and don't slam it lower than your goals actually call for. A clean, level Si with a real alignment drives great and looks even better. One that's dumped crooked with the tires tucked wrong just eats your tires and rides rough. Take the extra hour and set it up properly.

BC Racing has been building coilovers since the early 2000s, and the BR Series is the kit that made their name. It's their most popular setup for a reason. It's affordable, it's proven on daily drivers and track cars alike, and it does what it promises without drama.

Who This Is For

You bought an Si because you wanted a real driver's car without a luxury price tag. This kit fits that mindset exactly. It's for the enthusiast who wants sharper handling, a cleaner stance, and the adjustability to tune it in over time. Whether you're keeping your FC3 coupe as a future classic or daily-driving your FC1 sedan, these get it sitting right and driving like it means it. Bolt them on, get it dialed, and go enjoy one of the last great Si builds.
