Let's clear something up first, because it trips people up constantly. The car Americans got as the 2003-2007 Accord isn't the same car the rest of the world called the Accord back then. Overseas, that name went on the smaller, sportier sedan we got as the Acura TSX. What you've got is the USDM 7th gen, the roomy, comfortable K24 and V6 sedan that became one of the most reliable, most-built Hondas of its era. This kit covers the 2003-2007 USDM Accord sedan whether you're running the K24 four-cylinder or the J30 V6. That's the CM5 and the CM6. You don't need to sort out which engine you've got before you order. It bolts up the same either way and gets your Accord sitting right.
What The BR Series Does For Your Accord
These Accords rolled off the lot tuned soft and riding tall, built for comfort over corners. About The Top Mounts
This kit uses RS type mounts, which means a rubber top mount up front and a rubber or reuse-OEM mount in the rear. On a daily-driven sedan like this, that's exactly what you want. Rubber mounts keep road noise and harshness out of the cabin, so the car stays comfortable and quiet. The trade-off is that there's no pillowball and no camber plate included, so front camber stays set by your factory geometry. If you drop it low and want to dial in more camber later, plan on adding alignment parts down the road. For most street builds, the RS setup is the right call.
Do The Job Right
These are older cars now, so before you start, check your other suspension parts. Worn ball joints, tired bushings, and rusty hardware are common at this age, and there's no point bolting fresh coilovers to worn-out everything else. Once you're set, take your time on the install, set your ride height even side to side, and get a real alignment when you're done. A clean, level Accord sitting on a proper alignment drives great and looks even better. Rush it and you just chew through tires and ride rough.
