APR GT-250 Adjustable Rear Wing - FK8, FL5 Civic Type R & DE5 Integra Type S
A real wing is the single biggest aero change you can make to the back of a car, and the GT-250 is APR's balanced, do-everything option: a CFD-developed airfoil with a fully adjustable angle, a strong pre-preg carbon build, and a pre-installed gurney flap. It generates serious rear downforce while keeping drag in check, and it's offered with chassis-specific fitment for the FK8, FL5, and DE5 in two spans.
Pick Your Chassis And Span
Two things to select: your car, and the wing width. Match both to your setup.
| Chassis | Span | Part Number |
|---|---|---|
| FK8 Civic Type R | 61" | APR-WNG-01-10 |
| FK8 Civic Type R | 67" | APR-WNG-01-11 |
| FL5 Civic Type R | 67" | APR-WNG-01-05 |
| DE5 Integra Type S | 61" | APR-WNG-01-01 |
| DE5 Integra Type S | 67" | APR-WNG-01-02 |
61" Or 67"?
The span choice comes down to how much wing you want and the look you're after.
The 67" is the wider option, more span means more total wing area and downforce capacity, and it fills the rear of the car more aggressively. It's the pick for maximum rear grip and the more dramatic stance.
The 61" is narrower, slightly less width for a cleaner, more contained look while still delivering the GT-250's downforce. It suits someone who wants the wing's performance without it extending as far past the body.
Both use the same airfoil and adjustment, so the choice is about width and appearance rather than one being a better wing. Note the FL5 is offered in 67" only.
Adjustable Angle, Tune It To The Track
This is what makes a real wing worth it over a fixed one.
The GT-250 has a fully adjustable angle of attack from 0° to 15°, so you set how much downforce it makes. Higher angles generate more downforce for tight, technical tracks where cornering grip and braking stability matter most. Lower angles reduce drag for high-speed circuits and straight-line speed.
That adjustability means one wing adapts to different tracks and conditions. Dial in more angle for a technical autocross, back it off for a fast circuit, and set the rear balance to match your front aero. A fixed wing gives you one setting; this gives you the range.
7.6:1 Downforce-To-Drag
The efficiency number is what separates a designed wing from a generic one.
The GT-250's airfoil was developed through CFD to hit a 7.6:1 downforce-to-drag ratio, meaning it makes a lot of downforce for relatively little drag. That efficiency is the whole point of a good wing: you want the rear grip without paying for it in top speed, and a CFD-optimized airfoil delivers far more of that than a wing shaped by eye.
The GT-250 uses a straight leading-edge element, which is the quick way to tell it apart from APR's GTC-300, that wing uses a curved element. Beyond the visual difference, the straight element is part of what gives the GT-250 its balanced, versatile character, where the GTC-300's curved, cambered airfoil chases a higher downforce-to-drag figure for bigger-capacity applications. If you're cross-shopping the two, the straight versus curved element is the easiest way to identify which wing you're looking at.
A pre-installed gurney flap (½" pre-preg carbon) comes on every GT-250, adding downforce and helping keep airflow attached at the trailing edge, so you're getting the wing's full potential out of the box rather than buying the gurney flap separately.
Built To Not Flex
Wing rigidity matters more than people realize.
The GT-250 is pre-preg woven carbon fiber, autoclave-cured in billet aluminum molds, which gives it the strength-to-weight and, critically, the stiffness to not flex under aero load. A wing that flexes at speed changes its angle as it loads up, which means the downforce it makes becomes inconsistent right when you're relying on it. This holds its shape, so the aero stays predictable at speed.
It mounts on 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum pedestals, available in three heights so you can position the wing precisely for optimal airflow, and it uses carbon fiber bottom plates for the chassis-specific fitment.

Who Should Run This
This is for the FK8, FL5, or DE5 owner building serious rear aero, a time attack car, a track build, or a fast street car that wants real, adjustable downforce. CFD-developed efficiency, a 0-15° adjustable range to tune to any track, rigid pre-preg carbon that holds its shape, and the gurney flap included. Pick your chassis and span, set your angle, and plant the rear of the car.
Fits: 2017-2021 Civic Type R (FK8, 61" or 67"), 2023-2026 Civic Type R (FL5, 67"), 2024-2026 Integra Type S (DE5, 61" or 67"). Chord depth: 10". Leading edge: straight element (vs the GTC-300's curved element). Adjustment: 0-15° angle of attack. Efficiency: 7.6:1 downforce-to-drag. Construction: pre-preg woven carbon fiber, autoclave cured. Pedestals: 10mm 6061 billet aluminum, three heights. Gurney flap: pre-installed, ½" pre-preg carbon. Mounting: chassis-specific carbon bottom plates.
