Read This First: Tuning Required
This kit requires Hondata FlashPro or similar tuning to run correctly on the CU2. The lightened flywheel changes how the engine picks up and holds idle, and these cars need the tune to keep idle and drivability right rather than fighting the factory calibration. If you don't already have FlashPro or an equivalent on the car, plan for it as part of this install, because the kit is built to be run on a tuned car.
Steel-Backed Copper Kevlar Organic Disc
The kit uses a reinforced steel-backed copper Kevlar organic friction disc. That organic material gives you smooth, progressive engagement and good durability, so it grips without the harsh on-off feel of an aggressive puck disc, while the steel backing adds the strength to hold more torque and stand up to daily wear. Rated for 70% more holding capacity than the factory clutch, it's enough headroom for an intake, header, and exhaust without slippage, while keeping the modulated engagement you rely on in traffic.
Included Lightened Flywheel
This kit comes with a lightened flywheel weighing roughly 12 lbs, a big drop from the heavy factory piece. That reduced rotating mass lets the K24 rev up and settle quicker, so throttle response sharpens and shifts feel faster and more connected. Pairing the flywheel with the clutch means both parts are fresh and matched, and the labor happens once. The honest trade with any lighter flywheel is a little more noise and vibration at idle and slightly more throttle attention off the line, which most owners find well worth the sharper response.

Fitment

Break-In
A proper break-in is required to maximize disc life and reach full rated holding capacity. Take it easy for the first several hundred miles, no hard launches or aggressive driving, so the friction surfaces seat and heat cycle evenly. Avoid riding the clutch, since repeated slipping works against building its holding capacity. Once it's broken in, you've got the full rated capacity.

This limited one (1) year warranty offered by ACTION CLUTCH covers defects in material or workmanship in new ACTION CLUTCH products. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is nontransferable. Only consumers purchasing ACTION CLUTCH products from authorized ACTION CLUTCH retailers or resellers or through the ACTION CLUTCH website may obtain coverage under our limited warranties.
ACTION CLUTCH warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:
ACTION CLUTCH will replace at no charge for parts only that proves defective because of improper workmanship. If ACTION CLUTCH is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be made in a timely fashion, ACTION CLUTCH may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.
Action Clutch offers a 1 (one) year warranty from the original date of purchase. We also offer a 30-day return policy with a 20% restocking fee.
Our warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
(1) Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. (2) Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from (1) normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident or alteration. (3) Accessories, connected materials and products, or related products not manufactured by ACTION CLUTCH. (4) Damaged input Shaft causing HUB to strip (5) Failure to resurface the flywheel will invalidate Warranty.
Please Note: ACTION CLUTCH will not be liable for labor charges and other intangible or consequent losses that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, nor shall they be liable for damages or injury to any persons or property resulting from the misuses or improper installation of any part subject to this warranty.
Our limited warranties are void if a product is returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels or any alterations (including removal of any component or external cover).
ACTION CLUTCH will not provide any warranty coverage unless claims are made in compliance with all terms of the controlling warranty statement included with your product and you follow proper return procedure. To request warranty service, you will need to provide:
- The sales receipt or other evidence of the date and place of purchase.
- A description of the problem.
