ACT AT88 B-Series Clutch Alignment Tool

ACT AT88 is the separately available alignment tool for the B-series Honda and Acura applications below. It's the piece you need if the original tool has gone missing or you're buying your clutch parts separately. Already ordered an Advanced Clutch kit for your B-Series? AT88 is included, so you shouldn't need another one unless you want a spare.

Check the B-series Application

AT88 covers more than the later hydraulic transmissions. ACT also lists it for 1992-1993 Integras, including the 1.7L GS-R. That doesn't make it a tool for every B-series clutch: a 1990-1991 Integra isn't on this application list. If the car has a swap, work from the disc, transmission and pilot bearing you've installed. Knowing it's a B-series is only part of that check.

The Si badge can trip you up here. A 1999-2000 Civic Si is on the list, but a del Sol Si isn't; the del Sol application is the 1994-1997 DOHC VTEC model. Check that distinction before adding AT88 to your order. You don't want to discover you've picked for the wrong clutch combination with the transmission already out.

Using the Tool

AT88 holds the disc in line with the pilot bearing while you install the pressure plate. Leave it seated as you secure the plate according to the clutch instructions, then withdraw it before refitting the transmission. The centered disc is ready for the input shaft; the tool isn't a substitute for checking the rest of the clutch assembly.

You're buying the tool only. The clutch disc, pressure plate and bearings are separate. Keep AT88 with the part numbers for your clutch setup so you can find it for the next job.
