ACT 600190 XACT Streetlite Flywheel for Accord and Prelude
ACT's 600190 Streetlite is a 12.9 lb chromoly flywheel for your matching F22/F23 Accord or F/H-series Prelude manual clutch assembly. The PB1008 pilot bushing comes with it. You'll need that bushing; the stock Honda one won't fit.
For the Accord or Prelude you still drive
We'd put Streetlite on the shortlist for a street car that also sees the drag strip. That's the use ACT favors for it. If you're buying a clutch at the same time, choose the disc around your engine's torque and how you drive the car. Fitting this flywheel doesn't require a race disc.
You might want the engine to pick up revs more readily without wanting harsh takeup in traffic. Those aren't the same choice. A lighter flywheel leaves less stored energy to help you pull away, so include that change in your clutch plan. For a daily Accord, we'd spend as much time on the disc's engagement characteristics as the flywheel weight.
ACT describes gear rattle as OE to mild. If you've already got a noisy clutch combination in your Prelude, don't expect a new flywheel to cure it. The disc and drivetrain still affect what you'll hear. We'd take the noise rating as a trade-off to consider, not a promise that your gearbox will be silent.
Why the material matters at the next clutch change
ACT uses a heat-treated chromoly forging, CNC machines the flywheel and dynamically balances it. It induction hardens the ring gear, too. The friction face belongs to the one-piece steel flywheel, so you don't have a separate insert to replace.
If you're keeping the car through another clutch, that gives you a straightforward service route. Have a flywheel shop inspect and resurface the face within ACT's limits. You won't need to order an insert, but you'll still need good machining and the correct step. A cracked part needs replacing; grinding isn't a fix for cracks.

Settle the Prelude clutch size first
Here's where we'd slow down before ordering for a Prelude. ACT lists a 225 mm HA3 clutch for these applications and a 220 mm stock clutch. The 600190 friction face is 225 mm. If you're planning to reuse an original clutch, have the disc and pressure-plate part numbers checked with this flywheel. A matching model year alone won't settle it.
For your Accord, ACT's chart calls the HA3 clutch 224 mm while the flywheel page specifies a 225 mm face. Keep those measurements separate. Order the verified clutch and flywheel combination rather than choosing a disc by a nearly matching diameter.
| Year | Make | Model | Submodel | Engine |
| 1990-1997 | Honda | Accord | DX, EX, LX; SE in 1991 | F22 2.2L |
| 1998-2002 | Honda | Accord | DX, EX, LX | F23 2.3L |

Use this table for the matching manual clutch and transmission assembly. An automatic car won't take this flywheel as a direct installation. If you've converted the car or swapped its engine, work from the hardware in it now. These applications don't establish V6 Accord, later K-series or Acura fitment.
Use the supplied PB1008
The PB1008 is oil-impregnated bronze, and it needs more than just the right part number. ACT calls for it to sit about 0.060 inch / 1.5 mm below the clutch-side face and extend slightly toward the crankshaft. Give those instructions to your installer so the bushing goes in at the required position.
If you're servicing a used 600190 later, PB1008 is the bushing's reorder number. Keep it in your parts notes rather than buying a stock Honda bushing at the next clutch job. You're getting the flywheel and bushing here; buy your clutch components separately. Sort out the mounting bolts before the transmission comes out. ACT's general instructions call for new factory flywheel bolts and the vehicle service-manual torque specifications.
Give the machine shop the step requirement
When it's time to resurface, have the shop verify the correct step before grinding. That's the distance between the friction face and pressure-plate mounting surface. You can have a clean-looking flywheel and still have the clutch working in the wrong range if that relationship changes.
ACT allows no more than 0.040 inch / 1.02 mm of material removal and recommends rebalancing after resurfacing. We'd keep the machining record with your clutch receipts. When you pull it apart again, you'll know what work the flywheel has already had.
Follow the break-in instructions for the disc you've selected. The flywheel's street-and-race designation doesn't change the disc's procedure. Get the engagement and torque capacity you need for your car, then install and break in that matched assembly.
