This is a proper fabricated race pan, not a cast piece. It starts with a machined 6061 billet flange, then formed sheet aluminum is TIG welded to it for a strong, clean, purpose-built unit. Drag Cartel also built in a removable top baffle plate, which is a smart touch, it lets you pull the baffle for service and cleaning instead of the pan being a sealed box you can never inspect. It's made in conjunction with Unit 2 Fabrication exclusively for Drag Cartel Industries, which tells you the level this is built to.
