SHIFTER BUSHINGS
The Hybrid Racing shifter cable bushings are a simple, cost-effective way to improve Civic shifting and get that tight, mechanical feel you want from the shifter. Not all 16-23 Civic shifter bushings are the same, and this is where most “solid” kits get it wrong. Honda uses rubber in the factory civic shifter cable bushings because the joint needs 2 degrees of freedom. A generic aluminum shifter bushing civic or Delrin insert usually locks that down to 1 degree of freedom.

Each Hybrid Racing civic mt shifter bushings kit (SKU: HYB-BUN-01-38) includes spiral retaining rings to lock the bushings into the cables and stainless cotter pins to secure the cables to the transmission. The bushings are constructed from 6061 aluminum, use a black anodized shifter bushing finish for corrosion resistance, and are completed with a laser-etched logo.
