Honda OEM Throttle Body Gasket - K20A2/K20A3 Engines
Pulling your throttle body on your RSX or Civic Si for cleaning or replacement? You'll need a new gasket. This is the genuine Honda throttle body gasket for K20A2 and K20A3 engines. It seals the mating surface between the throttle body and intake manifold so you don't get vacuum leaks that cause rough idle, poor throttle response, or lean running conditions. Replace It Every Time the Throttle Body Comes Off
Throttle body gaskets compress when they're torqued down, which is how they seal. Once you unbolt the throttle body, the gasket won't seal properly if you try to reuse it. A vacuum leak at the throttle body causes rough idle, hesitation, and lean codes. It's a cheap part that takes two seconds to swap in, so there's no reason to skip it.
