PRODUCT DETAILS

Honda Timing Belt Cover Bolt, B, D, F, H Series Engines

This Honda timing belt bolt is the unglamorous little piece that keeps your timing covers where they belong. Part number 90007-679-000 fits a bunch of Honda and Acura setups, and it’s the right call when you’re doing a belt job, fixing someone else’s missing hardware, or dealing with a stripped head that refuses to tighten. If you want your covers to sit flat and not rattle, start with the correct OEM Honda timing bolt instead of whatever came out of the coffee can.

You’ll see this used as a B-series timing belt bolt, D-series timing belt bolt, F-series timing belt bolt, and H-series timing belt bolt. In plain terms, it’s a Honda timing cover bolt and an Acura timing cover bolt for the timing belt covers. Most chassis use nine bolts total to fully lock down the upper and lower covers, so count what you’ve got before you tear back into it. Using the factory style bolt keeps the clamping consistent and the fitment clean, which matters when you’re trying to line everything up without cross threading or cracking old plastic.

This is the bolt you grab when you want the job to go back together like it should, stock look, correct length, no drama. We use this exact hardware on our own cars because it saves time during reassembly, especially on builds where you’re in and out of the timing area more than once. It’s not a horsepower part, but it’s the difference between buttoned up and “good enough.” Every detail matters when completing a restoration on your Golden Era Honda, especially when it comes to higher end car shows.

This bolt is commonly use on the L Series found in the 2015-2020 Honda Fit and the 2011-2016 Honda CR-Z, as well as, pretty much every V6 J Series.
