The Hondata 4 Bar Map Sensor is an aftermarket upgrade designed for use with B-Series Honda and Acura vehicles. It replaces the factory map sensor and allows the engine management system to accurately measure boost levels up to 58 PSI or 400 kPa (4 bar) instead of the factory 10-11 psi (0.7-0.8 bar) limit. This is particularly useful for high-performance builds that require higher boost levels for optimal performance. The Hondata 4 Bar Map Sensor is a plug-and-play upgrade that requires no modifications to the engine harness or the ECU.
With the Hondata 4 Bar Map Sensor installed, engine management systems such as the Hondata K-Pro or FlashPro can accurately measure boost levels and adjust fuel and ignition maps accordingly. This allows for more precise tuning and better performance. It is worth noting that the Hondata 4 Bar Map Sensor may not be necessary for all builds, and in some cases, the factory map sensor may be sufficient. However, for high-performance builds that require higher boost levels, the Hondata 4 Bar Map Sensor is be a valuable upgrade.
B Series Throttle Bodies
There is no warranty stated or implied due to the unusual stress placed on competition product(s) and/or the inability to monitor their modification, installation, and use, unless otherwise stated. In such case, Hondata warrants all products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service for a period of (30) days from date of retail purchase.
As of September 01, 2018, the warranty on these specific Hondata products is extended to one year from the date of retail purchase: s100, s300, KPro, FlashPro, Coil Pack Retrofit (CPR), excluding: Harnesses
(For any issues with 4 or 7 bar map sensors, the end user must contact us directly for further instructions.)

Parts returned must be determined by Hondata to be defective before any warranty credit or replacement is issued. Hondata’s obligation under warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part proven defective. The customer must prepay transportation charges. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Products purchased from unauthorized dealers, or with the serial number missing, removed, or altered, are not eligible for warranty service. Proof of purchase, in the form of an invoice or sales order, may be requested.
Hondata shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, that might be claimed because of the failure of any part, including claims for delay, loss of profits, or labor. Hondata shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warranty. There are no other warranties expressed or implied extending beyond those set forth above.
All software must be used in accordance with the respective software license(s).
