Genuine Honda Wiring Passage Grommet (90610-SF4-003)
This is the rubber grommet that seals where your engine harness passes through the firewall, and it's one Honda used across a wide span of chassis. On most cars it's the passenger-side firewall passage behind the fuse box; on right-hand-drive models it's the driver's side. It's a cheap part that does an important job, keeping moisture, dirt, and abrasion away from your harness where it crosses the firewall.
What It Does
Simple part, real job.
Your engine harness has to pass from the engine bay into the cabin, through a hole in the firewall. This grommet seals that hole around the harness. Without it, or with a cracked and hardened one, you get water and dust intruding into the cabin and, worse, the bare edge of the firewall opening chafing against your wiring every time the engine moves.
That chafing is how firewall pass-throughs cause electrical gremlins, a harness rubbed through at the exact spot nobody thinks to check. A proper grommet protects against all of it.
Why Yours Is Probably Due
On a car this age, the original grommet has had decades of heat cycling.
Rubber hardens, shrinks, and cracks over time, and a firewall grommet lives right in the heat of the engine bay. An old one loses its seal, lets water and dust past, and gets brittle enough that it no longer protects the harness the way it should.
Replacing it is cheap insurance on the wiring it protects, and on a clean build it's the kind of small detail that separates a proper job from a hacked-together one.
Useful For Swaps And Wire Tucks
Worth calling out, since this is a common need on modified cars.
Anyone doing an engine swap or a wire tuck is routing a harness through the firewall, and a fresh, correct grommet is what makes that pass-through clean and sealed rather than an open hole stuffed with foam. If you're tucking wires or running a swapped harness, this is the OEM piece that finishes the job properly.
It's the difference between a firewall pass-through that looks and seals like factory and one that's obviously improvised.
Heat-Resistant Rubber
Made from durable, heat-resistant rubber that holds its seal over time rather than hardening and cracking the way a cheap replacement would.
On a part whose entire job is sealing and protecting through years of engine bay heat, the material is the whole specification. This is the genuine Honda piece, which is why it lasts.

Who Should Grab One
This is for anyone whose firewall grommet has hardened, cracked, or gone missing, and for anyone doing a swap or wire tuck who needs to route a harness through the firewall cleanly. It's the genuine Honda part, heat-resistant, and it seals the pass-through the way the factory intended. Cheap to buy, and it protects wiring that's expensive to fix. Swap it in and seal it right.
Fits: see the application list above. Part number: 90610-SF4-003. Location: passenger-side firewall pass-through (LHD), driver's side (RHD). Function: seals the engine harness where it passes through the firewall. Material: heat-resistant rubber. Type: genuine Honda. Sold: individually.
