HYBRID RACING 2005-2006 K-Series Honda Immobilizer Delete Chip
Hybrid Racing did one of the first K-Swaps in 2003. We wanted to use the stock ECU but Honda had incorporated a theft deterient device into its new love child that prevented the engine from running unless the correct key was present in the ignition. So, we were left sourcing Type R ECU’s (not easy) and Hondata K-pro (awesome but $$$) to get our K-Swaps running. Even though we had two solid solutions we knew the simplest option would be the OEM ECU you get with your swap.
