It started innocently enough, a perfectly stock JDM Type R. I consider this a blank canvas, but since it is a Type R, even from day one it was an incredibly solid, very quick little Honda.
Here is where it started…
This is what I saw at the dealer (for some reason I didn’t take any photos of the exterior)
The factory recaro’s were is perfect condition, without even the seatbelt wear on the shoulders!
The factory momo wheel looked great too

I picked up the car and drove it straight to a Dyno. This is what came back:
A 10 year old Type R with 65,000kms on the clock that has lost an estimated 15PS!?! (without even factoring that it was a hot summers day)
It was clear then that things were going to get interesting…
For reference, the specs of the Japanese Type R are below. Mine does not have the C-package.
