SpeedFactory Top Mount Turbo Manifold - K-Swapped Civic, Integra & Del Sol

Building a turbo K-swap in your EG, EK, or DC and need a manifold that spools fast, seals tight, and doesn't crack the first time you lean on it? This SpeedFactory top-mount turbo manifold is built for exactly that. It's designed to light up a small to mid-frame turbo quickly and hand you a broad, usable powerband that pulls all the way to redline, so you get real torque and snappy spool down low plus the top-end horsepower up high. It's the kind of manifold you want under a road race or drag K-swap that has to actually perform, not just look the part.

Why It Spools And Pulls The Way It Does

Here's what this manifold is tuned to do. The top-mount runner design gets a smaller or medium turbo up and spooling quickly, which is what gives you that broad powerband instead of a peaky motor that only wakes up at the top. So you get strong torque and good response early, and it keeps pulling hard through the whole rev range. That combination is exactly what you're after for road racing or drag, where you want the turbo awake off the corner or off the line, then screaming at the top.

Built To Seal And Survive

This is where SpeedFactory's fab work shows. The manifold is made from 1.5" schedule 40 stainless steel, TIG-welded and back-purged, which is the real-deal way to weld stainless so it's clean and strong inside and out, not just pretty on the surface. The cylinder head, wastegate, and turbine inlet flanges are CNC machined from half-inch 1018 steel plate, and every mating surface is machined dead flat. That flat-flange detail matters more than it sounds, warped or rough flanges are exactly how cheap manifolds spring exhaust leaks, and flat, thick flanges seal up tight and stay that way.

Match It To Your Turbo and Wastegate

A couple of things to spec out when you order. First, this manifold is built for small to mid-frame turbos only, so if you're running a big large-frame turbo, this isn't the one, SpeedFactory makes a large-frame version for those setups. Second, pick your wastegate flange to match your build:

Choose the turbine flange that fits your turbo, and you're set on that end.

Important: Do Not Heat Wrap This Manifold

Read this before you get any ideas about exhaust wrap. Heat wrapping a stainless manifold traps heat right in the metal and the welds, and that's a fast way to crack it, so don't do it. On top of that, wrapping it voids your warranty, no exceptions. SpeedFactory's limited warranty covers welding defects only, for the original purchaser with an invoice or order number, and it does not cover any manifold that's been heat wrapped or run with an improper downpipe or dumptube. Warranty service requires pictures or video of your installed setup. Bottom line: run it unwrapped and plumb it right, and you're good.
