SpeedFactory Titanium Manifold Stud Kit, 6-Point Nuts 10pc
Some turbo manifolds and tight-radius headers have runner bends coming off the flange so close that you can't land a socket or a box-end wrench on a manifold nut. That's the exact problem this kit solves. It's SpeedFactory's 10-piece titanium manifold stud kit for M8x1.25 Honda and Acura applications, built with 12mm 6-point nuts instead of the 10mm 12-point nuts in the standard kit, so you can get an open-end wrench on every nut from the side.
What It Is and Why It Works
The studs are the same Ti 6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium as the rest of the SpeedFactory hardware line: stronger than factory steel, immune to the rust that welds 25-year-old Honda studs into the head, with a 3mm hex key tip machined into each stud so it threads in with an Allen key instead of the double-nut trick. Each stud, washer, and nut assembly weighs about 12 g, per manufacturer.
The nut style is the whole reason this kit exists. A 12-point nut needs a socket or box-end wrench dropped over the top, and on a log manifold or a tight tubular header there's often no room for that. A 6-point nut takes a plain open-end wrench slid in from the side. The trade-off is the larger 12mm head versus 10mm on the standard nuts, and fewer wrench positions per turn, so on an open, easy-access flange the standard 12-point kit is actually the nicer one to torque. Buy this version because your manifold demands it.
The M8x1.25 thread pitch covers intake and exhaust manifolds on Honda and Acura B series (B16, B18, B20), D15 and D16, F20B, the S2000's F20C and F22C, and the Prelude's H22 and H23, plus the intake side of a K series head. K series exhaust manifolds are M10x1.25 and need SpeedFactory's M10 hardware instead. Ten pieces covers a full B, D, F, or H series manifold flange with spares left over.

Thread pitch decides fitment, not the chassis. Any Honda or Acura manifold running M8x1.25 studs takes this kit, including B16 Civics, B18A and B18B Integras, and swapped EG, EK, and DC2 builds on B, D, F, or H series power. Confirm your hardware is M8x1.25 before ordering.
What to Know Before You Buy
Check your manifold's nut access before picking between this and the standard kit. Put a wrench on your current hardware: if a socket drops on every nut cleanly, get the standard 12-point kit, it's easier to torque accurately. If any nut only takes an open-end wrench because a runner or the flange casting is in the way, that's this kit. Turbo manifolds and ram-horn style headers are the usual culprits. Also check radial clearance, the 6-point heads are 12mm across flats versus 10mm on the standard nuts, so they need slightly more room around each stud hole.
Install is the same across the family. Hand-thread each stud into a clean bore, snug it with the 3mm Allen key, and don't crank on the hex tip. Clamp load comes from the nuts, torqued to your factory manifold spec with the same numbers you'd use on steel. Titanium in an aluminum head can gall, so use nickel-based anti-seize on the head-side threads and retorque after a few heat cycles, especially on turbo manifold duty where heat cycling is brutal. The 45mm stud length matches stock manifolds and standard header flanges; if you're stacking a thermal gasket or running a thick aftermarket flange, measure first, because this kit only comes in 45mm and you may be better served mixing in longer singles from the same line.
