Honda S2000 Oil Filter 15400-PCX-306 - Genuine OEM for F20C and F22C Engines

The genuine Honda 15400-PCX-306 is the factory-spec spin-on filter for the Honda S2000, and it works exactly the way the F-series motors expect. Functionally, it is a modern full-flow spin-on design with an internal bypass valve and an anti-drain-back valve. You cannot service those pieces separately - you replace the whole filter at each oil change. That is part of why this is the right call for a stock-style setup: it is consistent, it fits right, and it does not turn your oil change into a science project. For high-revving F-series use, especially if you are tracking your car or running at high RPM regularly, fresh OEM filtration at every oil change interval (Honda recommends every 5,000 miles or 6 months on the S2000) is the correct answer.
One thing people skip - do not. Honda actually specs torque on this filter, not just hand-tight plus vibes. Tighten the 15400-PCX-306 to 15-18 ft-lbs using a correctly sized filter socket on the PCX body. Overtighten it and you make the next oil change miserable. Undertighten it and you get a seep and a mess on your subframe. Pre-oil the gasket lightly before install so it seats evenly.
