PRL High Volume "Plus" Cold Air Intake Duct - 2022-2026 Honda Civic 1.5T & Integra
This is the piece that turns your PRL High Volume Intake into a true cold air intake. It attaches to the provision built into the bottom of the HVI airbox and adds a second air source feeding the box from below, so instead of drawing from one path you're pulling from two. More cool air, better heat soak resistance, and it takes about as long to fit as reading this page.
Watch The Part Number
Worth flagging up front because PRL's numbering is unforgiving here. This duct is PRL-HC11-15T-INT-HV. The intake itself is PRL-HC11-15T-INT-HVI.
One letter apart. If you're ordering by part number, read it twice, because the two products are very different things at very different prices.
You Need The HVI First
The Plus duct is an add-on for the PRL High Volume Intake, not a standalone part. It mounts to a provision built into the bottom of the HVI airbox, so it needs that airbox to attach to.
If you're running the factory intake or another brand's setup, this won't work with it. If you've already got the HVI on the car, this is the natural next step and it's exactly what that provision was designed for.
Why A Second Air Source Matters
The HVI already does well on airflow, using Honda's factory bumper duct and sealing against the hood to keep hot underhood air out. The Plus duct adds to that rather than replacing it.
With both feeding the box, you've got more total volume available and you're pulling from a lower, cooler position in addition to the factory path. That matters most when the car is working, sitting in traffic on a hot day, or on the third pull of a session, exactly when heat soak starts eating into what your intake is delivering.
Cooler, denser air is the whole game on a turbocharged engine. This is the cheapest way to get more of it once you've already got the HVI.
Adding It Later Is Easy
Good news if you skipped it the first time. The provision is already in your airbox, so fitting the Plus duct doesn't mean tearing the intake back apart or undoing your original install. It attaches to what's already there.
That's the point of how PRL designed it. You can buy the HVI now, run it, and add this whenever you decide you want the full cold air setup, without penalty for doing it in two steps.
Fitment
2022-2026 Honda Civic 1.5T, including Si
2023-2026 Acura Integra 1.5T
Requires the PRL High Volume Intake. Fits all variants including Si, 6MT, CVT, RHD, and international models.
Who Should Grab One
This is for the Civic or Integra owner already running the PRL HVI who wants to finish the job. If your car sees hot weather, traffic, track time, or you've added boost and want every bit of cool air you can get, this is the piece that takes the intake from high volume to true cold air. Clip it in and let the box breathe from both directions.
Fits: 2022-2026 Honda Civic 1.5T (including Si) and 2023-2026 Acura Integra 1.5T. Part number: PRL-HC11-15T-INT-HV (the intake is PRL-HC11-15T-INT-HVI, note the difference). Requires: PRL High Volume Intake (HVI). Function: adds an auxiliary cold air source to the HVI airbox, converting it to a true cold air intake. Mounting: attaches to the factory provision in the bottom of the HVI airbox.
