Honda OEM Clutch Slave Cylinder - L Series / R Series Transmissions
Clutch pedal feeling spongy, sticking to the floor, or not disengaging properly on your Civic, CR-Z, or Fit? Your slave cylinder's probably leaking or worn out. This is the genuine Honda clutch slave cylinder for L15A, L15B, LEA1, and R18A transmissions. It bolts to the outside of the transmission and uses hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder to actuate the clutch fork. When it fails, fluid leaks out and you lose the hydraulic pressure needed to disengage the clutch. Part number 46930-SNA-A41.
Slave Cylinder Only
This listing is for the slave cylinder only. If your master cylinder reservoir or clutch master cylinder also needs replacing, those are sold separately. If you're not sure which component is failing, check for fluid leaking from the slave cylinder at the transmission first before replacing both.
How to Tell If It's Bad
A failing slave cylinder usually shows up as a clutch pedal that goes soft or sinks to the floor, a clutch that won't fully disengage when the pedal's pressed, or visible hydraulic fluid leaking from the slave cylinder on the side of the transmission. If you're topping off the clutch reservoir frequently without any visible leaks elsewhere, the slave cylinder's likely where the fluid's going.
