Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Thick-Disc Clutch Kit for B-Series Hydro - Part #08950B
This is the B-series Stage 2 you can actually drive to work. Thick 3-puck cerametallic disc, sprung hub, high-clamp Stage cover, 217 lb-ft at the wheels. It's the clutch for a bolt-on turbo B18C, a built B16 on cams, or a swapped EG that sees the strip on weekends and traffic on Monday. The thin-disc 08900B is the same clutch for a car that only sees the track.
What It Is and Why It Works
The cover is ductile iron with roughly 40 percent more clamp than the Honda plate, which is where the extra holding capacity comes from. The disc is cerametallic, so it holds that clamp when it's hot instead of fading, and it's the thick version, so there's enough material on the pucks to survive being slipped. The sprung hub takes drivetrain shock off the B-series gearset. Three pucks still carry less inertia than a stock full-face disc, so shifts don't get slower.
Engagement is short and firm and the pedal is heavier than stock. It's livable, not smooth. For stock manners with a little more capacity, the Stage 1 organic 08800B is the other choice.

What to Know Before You Buy
Resurface or replace the flywheel. Fresh pucks on old glaze chatter and never bed. Exedy's HF01 chromoly flywheel is the usual pairing if yours is done.
500 easy miles before you launch it or the cerametallic cooks before it seats.
Do the slave cylinder while the transmission is out; Exedy SC646 for the Integra.
