DC Sports Header for 92-00 Civic / 93-97 Del Sol Si - Stainless & Ceramic
If you're still running the stock cast manifold on your D-series, you're leaving real power on the table. This DC Sports header is a 4-1 long-tube design that swaps out that heavy, restrictive lump for equal-length, mandrel-bent runners that actually let your motor breathe. The result is sharper throttle response and noticeable gains across the whole powerband - not just a top-end blip that disappears below 5,000 rpm.
Two finishes: Stainless or Ceramic Coated
Pick what fits your build and budget. The HHS5613 is the stainless version - bare 304 stainless that looks clean and holds up well to daily use. The HHC5613 adds a high-temp ceramic coating rated to 1,200°F. That coating keeps heat locked in the tubes so exhaust gas moves faster, which sharpens scavenging and keeps power consistent on back-to-back pulls. It also drops under-hood temps noticeably, so your intake air and wiring stay cooler during summer traffic or a long track session.
Why it beats the stock manifold
- 4-1 merge collector - pulls strong from low rpm all the way to redline, no lazy midrange dip
- 304 stainless mandrel-bent tubing - smooth radius bends give exhaust a clean, unobstructed path out of the head
- CNC-machined 3/8" flanges - stay flat and seal tight after dozens of heat cycles, no warping, no leaks
- Satin ceramic coating (HHC5613) - cuts engine bay temps, fights corrosion, and handles sustained heat at the track
- Quality welds inside and out - these hold up to hard use, not just show use
- 50-state legal - CARB EO D-370-18 covers listed 1.5L and 1.6L D-series trims, so you're not rolling the dice at smog
What to expect on the car
On a healthy stock D-series, expect 8-12 whp and a noticeably fatter midrange. The exhaust note gets deeper and crisper without turning into a droning mess on the freeway. If you're already running an intake and a tune, you'll get more out of it. Want to keep building? Pair this with a Civic 1992-1995 Engine bolt-on or check the full DC Sports Engine lineup for intake and exhaust combos that work well together.
Direct-fit applications
- 1992-2000 Honda Civic EX / LX / DX / Si (D15 / D16)
- 1993-1997 Honda Del Sol S / Si (D15 / D16)
Fits with the factory cat or most aftermarket test pipes. A/C and power steering stay intact, so you're not turning your daily into a track-only car just to pick up some power. If your Civic is running a D-series and it's on the fitment list, this is a direct bolt-on.
Also running a B-series or VTEC D? Check out the DC Sports Stainless Header for 92-00 Civic/93-97 Del Sol Si or the DC Sports Header for 99-00 Civic Si/94-97 Del Sol VTEC if you're on the B16 / ZC side of things.
- 1992-2000 Honda Civic - EX, LX, DX, Si (D15 / D16 engines)
- 1993-1997 Honda Civic Del Sol - S, Si (D15 / D16 engines)
Compatible with the factory catalytic converter and most aftermarket test pipes. Retains A/C and power steering brackets. Not compatible with B-series or K-series swaps - see DC Sports Stainless Header for 92-00 Civic/93-97 Del Sol Si for current fitment or contact us if you're on a swapped motor.
