PRODUCT DETAILS
The Competition Clutch Stage 3 Integra kit is a single disc clutch and pressure plate package for the hydraulic transmission in 1994 to 2001 Acura Integra 1.8L cars, the common B18B and B18C setups. Your clutch’s job stays simple, clamp the disc between the flywheel and pressure plate so torque makes it into the trans, then let you slip it on launch and on shifts without turning everything into a jerky mess.
Honda picked the factory clutch for easy drivability across every driver and every commute. Start adding torque, sticky tires, hard launches, or just drive it like you mean it, and the stock clutch usually gives up on holding power first. This Stage 3 Rigid Clutch Kit or Stage 3 Sprung Clutch Kit uses segmented ceramic friction and a matched performance pressure plate. Competition Clutch calls the 2600 series good for up to a 150 percent torque capacity increase over stock, and yeah, that depends on the exact application. In the real world, this is the kind of Integra Stage 3 Clutch people reach for when they want a High Torque Clutch Integra setup that won’t haze at the top of third.
You’ve got two hub options under the same Stage 3 Clutch Acura Integra umbrella. Same ceramic material, different manners.
- Competition Clutch 8026-0600 (SKU: COC-8026-0600): rigid disc, also called unsprung. This is the more aggressive feel and it’ll talk back more through the drivetrain.
- Competition Clutch 8026-2600 (SKU: COC-8026-2600): sprung hub disc. The springs add torsional damping, which usually means smoother engagement and less shock to your trans.
If you’re building an Integra Ceramic Clutch Kit for street strip use, the sprung hub tends to make daily driving less annoying. If you’re dead set on a Drag Racing Clutch Integra setup and you want the direct hit of an unsprung disc, the rigid version is the one. Either way, it’s a legit Performance Clutch Kit Integra choice, and we run these exact parts on our own cars because we don’t have patience for clutches that slip after a few hard weekends.
- Friction facing: segmented ceramic
- Series: Stage 3, 2600 series
- Advertised torque increase: up to 150 percent over stock, application dependent

Installation scope and considerations
Install is the normal Integra clutch job, trans out, set up the release system correctly, and don’t rush the details. You’ll use the included alignment tool to center the disc. Plan on a break in period, Competition Clutch commonly calls out guidance in the neighborhood of 300 miles, but you should follow the exact instructions that come in the box you get since the docs can change. If you’ve ever heard someone say, “My new clutch chatters,” half the time they skipped break in or drove it like a light switch on day one.
Also worth noting, people cross shop this feel level against a Stage 3 Civic Si Clutch or even a Stage 3 CR-V Clutch Kit, and the takeaway is the same, ceramic holds, but it won’t baby you. If you want an Acura Integra High Performance Clutch that you can actually lean on, this is the right direction for an Integra Street Strip build.
