PRODUCT DETAILS

Competition Clutch Stage 1 Gravity Series Clutch Kit (MFG SKU 8026 2400, our SKU COC-8026-2400) is a complete Acura Integra clutch kit for manual trans cars, specifically the Integra clutch kit 94-01 crowd. If you want the simple version, this Competition Clutch Integra kit replaces the wear items that actually matter, the Acura clutch pressure plate and the Integra clutch disc assembly, so your engine torque couples cleanly to the input shaft again when you dump the pedal and it fully releases when you grab the next gear.

This Integra Stage 1 clutch sits in the sweet spot for an Integra clutch upgrade where you want more bite but you do not want a leg workout. Competition Clutch publishes up to 40 to 50 percent more torque capacity while keeping a Integra stock pedal feel clutch vibe. In real terms, it is the kind of Integra daily drivability clutch you can live with in traffic, but it will hang on better when you start leaning on the car with sticky tires and hard pulls.

Hardware wise, this Gravity Series Integra clutch uses a Competition Clutch pressure plate and a sprung hub disc. That sprung hub matters because it takes some of the shock out of engagement, so your drivetrain does not get hammered every time you come off the line. For this 2400 Series Stage 1 application, Competition Clutch also lists a 6 pad high torque performance disc, and most 2400 Series listings call the friction material ceramic. Translation, it will usually engage more positively than an OEM full face organic disc. That is good for holding power, but if you expect buttery smooth feathering like a brand new factory clutch, you might not love every parking lot start. We still run these exact parts on our own cars because they are a solid compromise when you want a high-torque Integra clutch without going full race clutch misery.

One important honesty check, Competition Clutch documents this Stage 1 Acura clutch as not intended for forced induction like turbo, supercharger, or nitrous. If your build plan includes a real torque jump and you want an Integra kit for torque boost that survives repeated high load pulls, you should step up in clutch spec instead of hoping break in magic fixes slip.

Installer considerations: Do not cut corners here. Competition Clutch calls for flywheel resurfacing or replacement during install, replacing the pilot bearing or bushing, and cleaning any rust inhibitor off the friction surfaces before it all goes together. Use the included alignment tool and confirm disc orientation, then plan on a 500 to 700 mile break in with normal street driving. After install, you may need minor pedal or release adjustment since diaphragm position can change with the new pressure plate. Do it now, not after you smell clutch on your first hard pull.
