If you're running mild bolt-ons (intake, header, exhaust, tune) and you're slipping your stock clutch, the Stage 1 kit fixes that. You're not upgrading to a crazy aggressive clutch. Copper-Infused Kevlar Organic Disc
The clutch disc uses copper-infused Kevlar organic material with a steel backing plate. The copper helps dissipate heat, the Kevlar adds strength, and the organic material keeps engagement smooth. Works with Your Factory Flywheel
This kit's designed to work with your factory flywheel. You're not buying a new flywheel. You're reusing your stock flywheel or replacing it with a stock-weight flywheel. If you want a lightweight flywheel for faster revs, you'll need to buy a flywheel separately. This kit doesn't come with one.
Fully Enclosed Spring Retainers
Action Clutch uses fully enclosed spring retainers on the clutch disc. The springs are fully enclosed inside the disc hub, so they can't pop out. Some cheap clutches use open spring designs where the springs can pop out under hard use and destroy your transmission. Action's enclosed design prevents that.

Don't reuse a worn, heat-spotted, or cracked flywheel. It'll destroy your new clutch. This is a Stage 1 clutch for heavy-duty street driving and mild track use with bolt-ons. If you're running a turbo, supercharger, or big power build, you need a Stage 2 or Stage 3 clutch. The Stage 1 kit's not designed for high-horsepower builds. Break in your clutch properly. Drive easy for the first 500 miles. No hard launches, no slipping the clutch under load. If you don't break it in properly, you'll glaze the disc and it won't grip right.
