Eibach Rear Sway Bar Hardware Kit for 2006-2015 Civic - Part #4031.312HKR

Non-Si 8th and 9th gen Civics left the factory without a rear sway bar, which is a big part of why they understeer the way they do. It also means there is nothing back there to bolt a rear bar to. This kit is the missing piece: the brackets, bushings, and mounting hardware that let Eibach's 19mm rear bar (part 4031.312) install on a Civic that never had one. Eibach requires it on every non-Si application of that bar.

Adding the rear bar is the single most noticeable handling change on these cars. It wakes up turn-in, balances the chassis, and cuts the stock push without touching spring rates or ride quality. Eibach lists this hardware kit for the 2006-2011 Civic excluding Hybrid and for 2012-2015 Civic 1.8L models. The Si is not covered and does not need it: Si models came with a factory rear bar, so the mounting points are already there. Hybrid models are excluded in Eibach's application data.

What to Know Before You Buy

This is mounting hardware only; the sway bar is sold separately. If you have an 06-11 Si, skip this kit and just buy the bar, since your car already has the factory brackets. Eibach covers hardware kits with a One-Year Warranty, which is shorter than the Five-Year coverage on the bar itself, so keep the distinction straight if a warranty question ever comes up.
