SpeedFactory LT-5 Turn Down Universal Muffler - 2.5", 3", and 3.5"
Need a muffler that flows, sounds good, and doesn't look like something you bought at AutoZone? The SpeedFactory LT-5 race muffler is a straight through design with a 5-piece pie cut turn down tip that looks clean and keeps exhaust gases pointed at the ground instead of straight back. The round body is 6 inches in diameter and packed with premium multi-layer high temp material, which gives you better sound suppression than smaller round mufflers without killing power. Available in 2.5 inch, 3 inch, and 3.5 inch inlet sizes to match your exhaust setup.
Built for Performance and Sound
This is a straight through muffler, so exhaust flows straight through a perforated core with minimal restriction. That means it makes power, but it also means it's loud. SpeedFactory designed this muffler with a larger 6 inch diameter body and high density perforated core wrapped in a lot of premium packing material to keep the tone as deep and clean as possible. Most round body mufflers are smaller and have less packing, which makes them raspier and harsher. This muffler weighs 10 pounds because it has more sound deadening material inside. If you want a loud muffler that doesn't sound like trash, this is it.
5-Piece Pie Cut Turn Down Tip
The turn down tip is made from five sections of pie cut tubing welded together at an angle to point exhaust gases at the ground. The 5-piece design deflects sound waves exiting the rear of the car better than 4-piece tips, which helps dissipate sound. The tip is 4 inches in diameter and has the SpeedFactory logo laser engraved on it. It looks way better than a straight cut tip or some cheap slash cut.
TIG Welded T304 Stainless Steel
The entire muffler is built from polished T304 stainless steel. The body and tip are TIG welded and back purged, so the welds are clean inside and out. Stainless steel won't rust or corrode even if you're driving in wet or salty conditions. The polished finish looks good and stays looking good.
Flared Inlet for Easy Installation
The muffler inlet is flared to slip fit over your exhaust pipe. Just slide the muffler over your pipe, clamp it or weld it, and you're done. No cutting the inlet to size or trying to force it on.
Three Inlet Sizes Available
SpeedFactory makes this muffler in three inlet sizes to match different exhaust setups:
2.5 Inch Inlet
Use this size if you're running 2.5 inch exhaust piping. Common on stock turbo builds and mild all-motor setups.
3 Inch Inlet
Use this size if you're running 3 inch exhaust piping. This is the most common size for turbo builds and big all-motor setups.
3.5 Inch Inlet
Use this size if you're running 3.5 inch exhaust piping. For high horsepower turbo builds where you need maximum flow.

Note: This is a straight through race muffler. It will be loud. The large body and premium packing keep the tone deep and clean, but this is not a quiet muffler. Pick your inlet size based on your exhaust pipe outside diameter. Universal weld-on application.
