Skunk2 Pro Series Throttle Body - Honda B/D/F/H Series Engines
If your Honda's been modified and you're still running the factory throttle body, you're leaving power on the table. The stock throttle body was sized for a stock engine. Once you've added cams, head work, forced induction, or anything else that makes the engine want more air, the stock throttle body becomes the choke point. The Skunk2 Pro Series throttle body comes in 68mm and 74mm bore sizes to match your build, and it's machined from forged 6061-T6 aluminum with a brass throttle plate and sealed ball bearings so it opens and closes smoothly without binding. It uses your factory throttle cable and comes with a new gasket and all the hardware, so it bolts right on.
When You Need a Bigger Throttle Body
A bigger throttle body won't make power on a stock engine. Where it matters is on built engines that are already moving more air than the stock throttle body can flow. If you've got cams, intake manifold work, forced induction, or you're running a high horsepower build, a larger throttle body helps your engine breathe more freely at wide open throttle. The 68mm is a solid bump for street builds and mild track setups. The 74mm is for high horsepower builds where you need every bit of airflow you can get.
Forged Aluminum with Brass Throttle Plate
The body is machined from forged billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a hard anodized finish so it doesn't corrode. The bore is honed oversized for a smooth surface that doesn't disrupt airflow. The throttle plate is brass, which doesn't warp or corrode the way cheaper plates do. Sealed ball bearings handle the throttle shaft, so the plate opens and closes smoothly without any slop or binding even after years of use.
Uses Your Factory Throttle Cable
The Skunk2 Pro Series throttle body works with your factory throttle cable, so you don't have to fabricate or source a new cable. It comes with a new throttle body gasket and all the hardware you need for installation. Bolt it on, connect your throttle cable, and you're done.
Two Bore Sizes Available
The 68mm and 74mm bore sizes cover different power levels and builds. If you're not sure which size you need, 68mm is the more common choice for street builds and moderate power levels. The 74mm is for higher horsepower builds where maximum airflow matters.
