This direct mount fuel regulator bolts right to an 8AN ORB fuel regulator location on the rail using the included 360 degree swiveling adapter. If your rail doesn’t have an 8AN ORB port, Radium Engineering sells matching rails and adapters so you don’t have to get creative with sketchy plumbing. You can also run it as a remote mount with the optional off rail kit. The bottom return uses a 6AN ORB port with a 360 degree swiveling 90 degree fitting, which makes line routing way less annoying in a tight bay.
Adjustment stays simple. The tool-less fuel regulator adjustment means you twist the knob to set base pressure, no jam nuts, no set screws, no slipping tools into a hot engine bay. The vacuum reference port also swivels 360 degrees and seals with dual O rings, so you can point the line where you want without compromising sealing. Radium includes four vacuum fittings so you can match your setup, barb hose, 3AN, push to connect hard line, or a plug if you’re not using reference.
Inside, Radium uses a single stainless return orifice to keep flow stable, which helps your gauge and your injector data stop doing weird stuff at idle and during transitions. Fuel compatibility covers what you actually see in the real world, pump gas, race gas, and alcohol blends. If you’re building a gasoline E85 fuel regulator setup, this works as an ethanol fuel pressure regulator for E85 and ethanol blends, and it plays nice with methanol blends too. The body uses CNC-machined aluminum, so it holds up and it looks right, but the real win is repeatable pressure when you’re logging and tuning.
