Hasport Auto to Manual Transmission Mount - DC5 RSX
The Hasport DC5AMC-LH is the clean way to do an RSX auto to manual conversion without sketchy home-brew mounts. This Acura RSX manual conversion kit replaces the factory automatic mount on your 2002–2006 RSX Base and lets you run an 02–11 Civic Si or RSX manual transmission like it actually belongs there.
This left-hand Acura RSX manual transmission mount lands the drivetrain where it should be and keeps geometry and axle angles happy. It works as an RSX Base manual transmission mount or any RSX automatic to manual mount setup where you’re running an 02–11 Si/RSX-style box. Hasport includes the needed mounting bracket; you’ll still reuse the rear bracket from an RSX or 02–05 Civic Si. No mystery hardware, no guessing.
Durometer Options
You’ve got four bushing options for your Hasport engine mount RSX manual build:
- **Hasport DC5AMC-LH mount – 62A**
• SKU: **HAS-DC5AMC-LH-U62A**
Softest of the bunch. Best choice if your RSX is mainly a street car and you don’t want your teeth buzzing at idle. You’ll still get a tighter feel than stock, but cabin vibration stays reasonable.
- **Hasport RSX 70A mount**
• SKU: **HAS-DC5AMC-LH-U70A**
Good middle ground for a car that sees weekend track days or spirited canyon runs. You’ll feel more drivetrain feedback, especially at idle and low RPM, but it’s still livable if you daily the car and don’t mind some NVH.
- **Hasport RSX 88A mount**
• SKU: **HAS-DC5AMC-LH-U88A**
Serious stiffness. This is where the car stops feeling “OEM-ish” and starts feeling like a track toy. Great for drag or circuit cars that trailer to events. You’ll absolutely feel the engine’s every move in the chassis.
- **Hasport RSX 94A mount**
• SKU: **HAS-DC5AMC-LH-U94A**
This is the “you know what you’re doing” option. Meant for extreme track-only setups where comfort doesn’t matter at all. Think slicks, big power, and minimal interior.
All four durometers (62A, 70A, 88A, 94A) use the same Hasport transmission mount RSX bracket design; only bushing stiffness changes. Stiffer bushings lock the drivetrain down harder, which helps with shifts and throttle response, but they also send more vibration and noise into the shell and put extra load on other parts—shifter, subframe, exhaust, everything. For a street-driven RSX manual swap mount setup, 62A or 70A usually keeps things tolerable. 88A and 94A make sense when comfort is already off the table.
We run these styles of Hasport transmission kit RSX mounts on our own cars, and the trade-offs are exactly what you’d expect: better control, more NVH. Pick the durometer that matches how you really use the car, not how you wish you did.
