Hasport RD1K AWD K-Swap Engine Mounts for 1997–2001 Honda CR-V
If you’ve ever looked at your first-gen CR-V and thought, “This thing would be perfect with a K-series,” you’re not wrong. The Hasport RD1K AWD Engine Mount Kit is built specifically to make a K-swap into your 1997–2001 Honda CR-V (RD1) actually make sense, while keeping all-wheel drive intact. These mounts are designed to work with the factory RD1 subframe, so you don’t have to reinvent the chassis just to get modern Honda power under the hood.
This kit supports both manual and automatic AWD transmissions from the 2002–2006 CR-V, paired with a K20 or K24 engine. With the correct transmission choice, the swap is largely bolt-in, though some modification to the stock subframe is required, especially when running the automatic AWD transmission. Once in place, the engine sits where it should, axles line up correctly, and the drivetrain behaves the way an AWD Honda should.
Like every Hasport mount kit, the RD1K is built for real use, not just mock-ups. The mounts control engine movement, improve throttle response, and help put power down without turning your CR-V into a vibration machine. Whether you’re building an AWD street sleeper, a rally-inspired setup, or a track-focused project, this kit gives you a solid foundation for a reliable K-swap.

Transmission Compatibility
- RD1KMAWD: For K-series engines using 2002–2006 Honda CR-V AWD manual transmissions
- RD1KAAWD: For K-series engines using 2002–2006 Honda CR-V AWD automatic transmissions
Important: These mounts only work with the factory RD1 subframe. Some subframe modification is required, and additional modification may be needed when running the automatic transmission.
Bushing Durometer Options
You can choose the bushing stiffness that matches how you actually drive your CR-V:
- 62A: Best for street-driven builds. Closest to stock feel with reduced vibration.
- 70A: A solid middle ground for spirited street driving and occasional track use.
- 88A: Stiffer option for aggressive driving or track-focused setups.
- 94A: Maximum control for race builds where engine movement needs to be minimized.
As a rule of thumb, stiffer bushings mean more vibration. If this CR-V sees daily street duty, 62A or 70A is usually the smart choice.
