Hasport B-Series Swap Mount Kit – 1984–1987 Honda Civic & CRX
If you’re putting a B-Series into an ’84–’87 Civic or CRX, these mounts are what make the swap feel “right.” The Hasport B-Series Swap Mount Kit is built specifically for this chassis and bolts the engine in where it should be—no guessing, no sketchy spacing, and no hacked brackets.
Whether this car is a daily, a weekend ripper, or a full race build, Hasport gives you the flexibility to set it up the way you want with multiple transmission and bushing options.
Chassis Compatibility
- 1984–1987 Honda Civic
- 1984–1987 Honda CRX
These mounts are only for the 1984–1987 chassis. If you’re working with an ’88–’91 Civic or CRX, you’ll need a different Hasport kit.
Engine Compatibility
This kit is designed for B-Series engines only. Common swaps include B16 and B18 engines from Integras, Civic Si models, and CR-Vs. If you’re swapping a D, H, or K-Series, this is not the correct mount kit.
Transmission Options
B-Series transmissions come in two styles, and the mounts must match the transmission you’re using:
- Cable Transmission: Older-style clutch actuation found in early Civics and Integras.
- Hydraulic Transmission: Later B-Series setups using a hydraulic clutch system.
If your clutch is operated by a cable, you’ll need the AFB1 series. If it uses a hydraulic line and slave cylinder, you’ll want the AFB2 series.
Bushing Stiffness Options
One of the biggest advantages of Hasport mounts is the ability to choose how stiff you want them. That means you can decide how much vibration you’re willing to live with in exchange for better engine control.
- 62A (Street): Best for daily-driven cars. Keeps vibration down while still controlling engine movement better than stock.
- 70A (Race): A solid middle ground for aggressive street driving and occasional track use.
- 88A (Extreme Race): For track-focused builds. Much firmer with noticeably more vibration.
- 94A (Most Extreme Race): Very stiff urethane intended for serious competition cars.
- 6061 Solid Aluminum: No compliance at all. Built strictly for dedicated race cars.
The stiffer the bushing, the more vibration you’ll feel in the cabin. For street cars, 62A or 70A is strongly recommended. Stiffer options are best saved for cars that live on the track.
