Hasport BBRH Right Hand Transmission Mount - 1994-1997 Accord / 1992-1996 Prelude

Your factory right hand transmission mount is probably old, worn out, and letting your drivetrain rock around under load. If you've got more power than stock, drive hard, or just have 20+ year old rubber that's turned to mush, you're dealing with sloppy shifts, inconsistent traction, and wheel hop that feels like your car is trying to shake itself apart. This Hasport right hand transmission mount fixes that. It's a single mount that replaces the passenger side transmission mount on your 1994-1997 Accord or 1992-1996 Prelude. You can pick how stiff you want it by choosing the bushing durometer that matches your build and tolerance for vibration.

Holds Your Transmission in Place

The right hand transmission mount does two jobs. It carries the weight of your transmission and resists torque reactions by feeding that load into your unibody through the bushing. When your factory rubber mount is shot, your drivetrain moves around too much. This shows up as sloppy shifts where you miss gears, inconsistent traction where the wheels hop instead of hooking, and general slop that makes the car feel loose. The Hasport mount keeps your drivetrain locked down so shifts feel clean and traction stays consistent.

Metal Bracket with Serviceable Bushing

The BBRH uses a metal bracket and a serviceable bushing insert that you can swap out. Your bushing choice is the whole story here. Softer bushings keep more comfort but let the drivetrain move a little. Stiffer bushings lock the drivetrain down but send more vibration into your cabin. You can even go solid if you're building a track car and don't care about comfort at all. Pick the bushing that matches how you use your car.

Understanding Durometer Ratings

Hasport offers this mount with four different urethane bushing durometers, plus a solid aluminum option. The durometer number tells you how hard the bushing is. Higher numbers mean stiffer bushings, which give you less drivetrain movement but more vibration in the cabin. Here's how to pick the right one for your build:

62A Urethane - Street

This is the softest urethane option Hasport offers. It's stiffer than your worn out factory rubber but still lets the drivetrain move a little, which keeps vibration down. You'll notice cleaner shifts and better traction compared to a dead stock mount, but you won't hate driving the car on the street. If your Accord or Prelude is your daily driver and you want an upgrade without making it miserable, this is the one to get.

70A Urethane - Track

The 70A bushing is noticeably tighter than the 62A. Your drivetrain will stay more locked down under hard acceleration and shifting, which helps if you're making decent power or driving aggressively. You'll feel more vibration at idle and when you let off the gas, but it's still tolerable on the street. This is a good middle ground if you want better control without going full race car.

88A Urethane - Race

The 88A bushing is serious. You'll feel vibration at idle and on deceleration, and your interior plastics might rattle. Your drivetrain will barely move under load, which is what you want if you're chasing lap times or making big power. This is not a comfortable street setup. If you're okay with that trade, this bushing locks things down hard.

94A Urethane - Extreme Race

Pick this only if comfort stopped mattering a long time ago. The 94A bushing is as stiff as urethane gets before you go solid. Your drivetrain will be locked in place, but you're going to feel and hear everything. This is for dedicated track cars or builds where performance is the only thing that matters. Your passengers will hate you.

6061 Solid Billet Aluminum - Zero Compliance

The solid aluminum insert has zero compliance. Your drivetrain doesn't move at all, and every vibration from the transmission goes straight into your chassis. This is effectively the same experience as a solid steel mount in terms of how much vibration it sends through the car. Use this only on a dedicated track car where you've already accepted that the interior is going to shake and rattle. It's not for street use unless you hate yourself.

Important Notes

This is one mount, not a complete mount kit. If your other mounts are old and worn out, replacing just the right hand mount won't fix all your drivetrain movement issues. Check your other mounts and replace them if they're shot too. Otherwise you'll still have slop coming from the other mounting points.

This mount is designed for manual transmission cars. Make sure you're ordering the right piece for your chassis and transmission combo before you start wrenching.
