MOMO MOD.88 Steering Wheel - 320mm / 350mm
Want a flat-bottom steering wheel that's comfortable for street driving and track days? The MOMO MOD.88 is a black suede wheel with a flat bottom, thick round grip, and three anodized spokes. It's available in 320mm or 350mm diameter. The flat-bottom design gives you more leg clearance when you're getting in and out of the car, and the thick grip fills your hands so you're not cramping up during long sessions. The black suede wrap grips better than leather when your hands are sweaty, which matters when you're actually driving hard.
320mm vs 350mm
The 320mm wheel (SKU: MOM-R198832S) is smaller and gives you quicker steering response. It's good if you want more clearance between the wheel and your legs or if you're running a low seating position. The 350mm wheel (SKU: MOM-R198835S) is closer to factory diameter and gives you more leverage for street driving. It's not as twitchy as a 320mm wheel, so it's easier to live with on the highway. Pick based on how you're using the car. If it's mostly a track car or you want the fastest steering response, go 320mm. If it's a street car that sees occasional track days, go 350mm.
Thick Round Grip
The MOD.88's got a thick round grip that fills your hands. That's different from thin-gripped racing wheels that feel like you're holding a pipe. The thick grip's more comfortable for long sessions and it's easier to hold onto when you're working the wheel hard.
Black Suede Wrap
The wheel's wrapped in black suede. Suede grips better than leather when your hands are sweaty, and it's easier to hold onto with gloves. Suede wears faster than leather and it's harder to clean, but it grips way better. If you're tracking the car or you want maximum grip, suede's what you need.
Horn Button Included
The wheel comes with a horn button. If you're running the car on the street, you need a working horn. The horn button's built into the center of the wheel, so you're not adding an external horn button to your steering column.
