Invidia N1 Catback Exhaust - 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S
Want more power and better sound from your RSX Type-S? The Invidia N1 cat-back exhaust replaces your factory exhaust from the catalytic converter back with mandrel-bent SUS304 stainless steel piping. The factory exhaust is restrictive and it chokes your K20A2 or K20Z1 at high RPM. The Invidia N1 flows way better, which gives you more power in the mid-range and top-end. You're also getting a louder, more aggressive exhaust note. If you're running bolt-ons like intake, header, and a tune, this exhaust wakes the car up and makes the power band way more usable.
Mandrel-Bent SUS304 Stainless Steel
The exhaust's made from SUS304 stainless steel with mandrel bends. Mandrel bends keep the pipe diameter consistent through the bends, which means better flow compared to crush-bent exhausts. SUS304 stainless resists rust way better than mild steel, so the exhaust's not going to rust out in a few years if you're driving in winter salt or humid climates. The flanges are CNC-machined for a tight fit at the connections.
Polished or Burnt Tip Finish
You can get the exhaust with a polished stainless tip or a burnt titanium-look tip. The polished tip looks clean and it stays shiny. The burnt tip's got that blue/gold titanium color. Pick whichever look you want. The tip finish doesn't change performance.
