Invidia N1 Catback Exhaust - 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si
Want more power and better sound from your 9th gen Civic Si? The Invidia N1 cat-back exhaust replaces your factory exhaust from the catalytic converter back with mandrel-bent SUS304 stainless steel piping. The factory exhaust is restrictive and it chokes your K24Z7 at high RPM. The Invidia N1 flows way better, which gives you more power in the mid-range and top-end. You're also getting a louder, more aggressive exhaust note. Invidia makes this exhaust in two different pipe sizes (2.75 inch and 3 inch) for both coupe and sedan, so pick the one that matches how you're using your car.
2.75 Inch vs 3 Inch Piping
Invidia makes the N1 in 2.75 inch and 3 inch piping. The 2.75 inch version's quieter and it makes better low-end and mid-range power. If you're daily driving your Civic Si and you want more power without drone on the highway, get the 2.75 inch. The 3 inch version's louder and it flows more at the top end. If you're making big power with a turbo or you just want the loudest exhaust possible, get the 3 inch. For a stock or mildly built K24Z7, the 2.75 inch makes more usable power because it keeps exhaust velocity up.
Mandrel-Bent SUS304 Stainless Steel
The exhaust's made from SUS304 stainless steel with mandrel bends. Mandrel bends keep the pipe diameter consistent through the bends, which means better flow compared to crush-bent exhausts. SUS304 stainless resists rust way better than mild steel, so the exhaust's not going to rust out in a few years if you're driving in winter salt or humid climates. The flanges are CNC-machined for a tight fit at the connections.
