Competition/Traction Bar Kit for the 1992-2001 Honda Prelude (BB)Designed to replace the stock cross member of the Prelude BB chassis.
The Innovative Mounts Competition/Traction Bar Kit is designed to increase the rigidity and stability of the vehicle's front suspension. The front suspension becomes more solid by tying in the front lower control arms to the frame, thus increasing traction and eliminating wheel-hop. This directly results in reduced 60-ft times and cornering speeds for front wheel drive drag racers and road racers. The design of the bar not only reduces unwanted lateral lower arm movement but also ties the lower chassis legs together, providing a much more rigid and stronger setup. This Comp/Traction bar kit, as are the steel radius arms, is powder-coated for durability and corrosion resistance. Each radius arm is equipped with a race-grade heim/spherical joint, allowing for an OEM fitment that is adjustable to suit all vehicle setups, whether a preload is needed or just to stop unwanted movement that can cause changes in suspension geometry during high-speed cornering or launching. The Comp/Traction bar will work with engine swaps and can be used with full or half-sized radiators. Due to its slim design, it will also accept larger downpipes and manifolds.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended that a mechanic or automotive specialist do all installs. Mounts CAN NOT be returned or swapped out after they have been bolted down (revealing bolt impressions). PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS KIT FITS YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE BOLTING THEM IN PLACE. Innovative Engine Mounts are built for performance driving. Although Innovative's bushings are made to absorb engine vibration, you may still notice slight vibration depending on your engine's series and HP. Innovative Mounts removes the dampening oil containers harbored by OEM/Stock mounts. By switching to stiffer mounts without the fluid reduces wheel hop and increases driving response.
