Haltech Elite 1500 Plug & Play Adapter Harness - 02-06 Acura RSX / 02-05 Civic Si
Want to upgrade to a Haltech Elite 1500 ECU without hacking up your factory harness? This plug and play adapter harness makes it happen. One end plugs into your Haltech Elite 1500 ECU, the other end plugs into your factory K series engine harness using the stock connectors. No cutting, no splicing, no rewiring your entire car. You can have a fully programmable Haltech ECU up and running in a few hours instead of spending days messing with wiring.
Plugs Straight Into Your Factory Harness
This adapter harness is designed to work with your stock 02-04 RSX or 02-05 Civic Si engine harness. It uses the factory ECU connectors on one side and plugs directly into the Haltech Elite 1500 on the other side. You get a clean, factory style installation without modifying your original wiring. If you ever need to go back to stock or sell the car, you can unplug the Haltech system and reinstall your factory ECU without any issues.
Complete Kit Ready to Install
This kit comes with everything you need to connect your Haltech Elite 1500 ECU to your K series engine. You get the injection molded plastic plug and play adapter harness, an M14 x 1.5 air temp sensor with matching plug and pins, and an auxiliary I/O 16 pin Tyco plug and pins for adding extra sensors or outputs. The harness also includes a quick start guide that walks you through the installation step by step, plus the full ECU manual and tuning software on CD or USB.
Opens Up Full Engine Tuning
Once you install this harness with your Haltech Elite 1500 ECU, you can tune every part of how your K series engine runs. You get full control over fuel delivery, ignition timing, VTEC engagement, cam timing, and boost control if you're running forced induction. The Haltech system lets you dial in exactly what your engine needs under all conditions, whether you're chasing max power on the dyno or just want better drivability and fuel economy.
Works on Manual Transmission Only
This harness is designed for manual transmission RSX and Civic Si models only. It does not support the factory multiplexed coolant temperature gauge, battery light, or AC request signal. Two Fitment Options Available
Haltech makes two different versions of this harness depending on which RSX you have. Make sure you pick the right one for your car.
02-04 RSX / 02-05 Civic Si (HT-140960)
This version works with the 02-04 Acura RSX and 02-05 Honda Civic Si EP3. It uses the earlier style factory ECU connectors found on these models.
05-06 RSX (HT-140961)
This version is specifically for the 05-06 Acura RSX. It includes a jumper harness that adapts the 05-06 chassis wiring to work with the 02-04 style ECU connectors, since the later RSX uses different wiring.
