Greddy Oil Block Adapter - Honda/Acura Engines
Need to add oil pressure and temperature sensors to your Honda or Acura without drilling and tapping your oil filter housing? The Greddy oil block adapter sits between your oil filter and the block and gives you sensor ports for oil pressure and temperature gauges. You're not modifying your engine. You just unbolt your oil filter, bolt this adapter in place, and screw your oil filter onto the adapter. Then you've got ports for an oil pressure gauge, oil temp gauge, or whatever sensors you're running. Greddy's been making oil system parts for performance engines for decades, so this adapter's built to seal properly and hold up to oil pressure without leaking.
Why You Need an Oil Block Adapter
If you're building a performance engine or tracking your car, you need to monitor oil pressure and oil temperature. The factory doesn't give you ports for aftermarket sensors, so you've got two options: drill and tap your oil filter housing or oil pan (which is permanent and you can screw up), or use an oil block adapter (which bolts in without modifying anything). The Greddy oil block adapter's the clean way to add sensor ports without permanently changing your engine.
Two Versions: 1/8 PT or M12 x P1.25 Sensor Ports
Greddy makes two versions of this adapter. Part number 11900672 has two 1/8 PT sensor ports, which is the standard thread size for most aftermarket oil pressure and oil temp sensors. Part number 11900673 has one M12 x P1.25 washer seal type sensor port, which is what some OEM and JDM sensors use. Make sure you order the right version based on what sensors you're running. If you're using standard aftermarket gauges from Autometer, AEM, or similar brands, you need the 1/8 PT version (11900672).
M20 and 3/4 Inch Center Bolt Fittings
The Greddy adapter includes two center bolt sizes in the box: Female M20 x P1.5 to Male M20 x P1.5, and Female 3/4 inch x 16UNF to Male 3/4 inch x 16UNF. That covers most Honda and Acura engines. The M20 fitting is common on B-series, D-series, F-series, and H-series engines. The 3/4 inch fitting works with K-series and some J-series engines. Check your oil filter thread before ordering, but this adapter covers most applications.
Seals with O-Rings, Not Gaskets
The Greddy adapter uses O-rings to seal instead of paper gaskets. The kit includes two common O-ring sizes: #5 (56mm inner diameter) and #6 (65mm inner diameter), which match the oil filter housing on most Honda and Acura engines. O-rings seal better than paper gaskets and they're reusable if you need to remove the adapter later. Just make sure the O-ring surfaces are clean before you install it.

Note: Check your oil filter thread size before ordering. Most B/D/F/H series engines use M20 x P1.5. Most K-series engines use 3/4 inch x 16UNF. Order part 11900672 if you're using standard 1/8 PT aftermarket sensors. Order part 11900673 if you're using M12 x P1.25 washer seal sensors. Use pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape on 1/8 PT sensor ports. Torque the oil filter to spec after installation and check for leaks before driving. Greddy has been making oil system components for performance engines since the 1970s.
