SpeedFactory OBD2B to OBD1 ECU Jumper Harness
If you're running an OBD2B Honda or Acura and you want to tune it with a chipped OBD1 ECU, this is the adapter that makes it happen. The SpeedFactory OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness lets you plug a 92-95 OBD1 manual ECU (think P28, P30, P72, P08) into your OBD2B engine harness without cutting, splicing, or soldering a thing. It's the cleanest way to get onto the OBD1 platform, where Hondata s300, Crome, and the rest of the tuning world actually live.
Here's why people make this swap: the OBD1 ECU is the gold standard for tuning a built Honda. Way more tuning software supports it, the chipping and datalogging options are deeper, and almost every tuner knows it cold. Your factory OBD2B ECU just can't match that flexibility on a high-compression, cammed, turbo, or swapped setup. This harness bridges the two so you keep your factory engine harness and just swap the brain.
What makes the SpeedFactory harness worth it
There are cheaper jumper harnesses out there, and they're where a lot of intermittent, hair-pulling tuning gremlins come from. SpeedFactory builds this one right: OEM-style ECU pins on every plug so the connections seat and hold like factory, 7-inch leads so you've got room to route it cleanly behind the dash instead of fighting a too-short harness, and automotive-grade wire that beats OEM spec. Plug one end into your OBD1 ECU, the other into your factory OBD2B harness, and you're done.

A couple of things to know before you order. This is for manual transmission ECUs, so make sure your OBD1 ECU is an M/T unit. And the harness gets you the connection, but you still need the actual OBD1 ECU (and, for most people, chipping or a Hondata s300 to do the tuning). If you're not sure which OBD1 ECU is right for your engine and chassis, reach out and we'll point you the right way.
