SpeedFactory Street Series Fill Pot for Honda B-Series Engines

The SpeedFactory Street Series Fill Pot is the ultimate solution for maintaining a clean and efficient cooling system on your Honda B-Series engine. Designed for enthusiasts running B16A, B18C1, B18C5, and GSR engines, this billet aluminum fill pot allows you to fill and bleed air from the highest point of your cooling system — ensuring optimal performance and reliability, whether you’re using a custom radiator or a SpeedFactory Racing Tucked Radiator.

Unlike the Race Series Fill Pot, the SpeedFactory Street Series Fill Pot is fully compatible with factory components, including the distributor and VTEC solenoid, making it perfect for both street and track applications. It conveniently raises the system’s fill point, allowing for easy bleeding and refilling, while also increasing coolant capacity by approximately 0.75 quarts for improved heat dissipation and system stability. Each unit comes with a SpeedFactory Titanium Oil Pressure Switch Delete in a raw finish for a clean, functional installation.

Every SpeedFactory Street Series Fill Pot includes a SpeedFactory Racing High Performance Type A 18.8 PSI radiator cap. This upgraded cap increases cooling system pressure, raising the boiling point to enhance overall efficiency and protect your engine from detonation or overheating under extreme conditions. Precision CNC-machined from high-quality aluminum, each fill pot is engineered to provide a perfect fit, superior durability, and a sleek black anodized finish for corrosion resistance.

Key Features:

  • Compatible with Honda B16A, B18C1, B18C5, and GSR engines
  • Fully compatible with factory distributor and VTEC solenoid
  • Raises system fill point for easier bleeding and maintenance
  • Increases coolant capacity by approximately 0.75 quarts
  • Includes SpeedFactory Titanium Oil Pressure Switch Delete (raw finish)
  • Includes SpeedFactory Racing Type A 18.8 PSI Radiator Cap for higher boiling point and better cooling efficiency
  • Constructed from CNC-machined aluminum with a durable anodized finish
  • Improves reliability and cooling system performance under extreme conditions

Installation Tip:

For proper installation, the VTEC Oil Pressure Switch must be removed and replaced with the included titanium plug. Be sure to reuse your factory O-ring. If your engine is equipped with a USDM ECU and lacks a VTEC Oil Pressure Switch signal, you can easily bypass this by tapping the pressure switch wire (ECU Pin D6) into the VTEC solenoid wire (ECU Pin A4). This ensures proper VTEC functionality without cutting or disabling the solenoid circuit.

The SpeedFactory Street Series Fill Pot is the ideal upgrade for B-Series owners looking for professional-grade cooling system maintenance, improved engine reliability, and a clean, functional engine bay.

Installation: Simply remove VTEC Oil Pressure Switch (If equipped) and install the included bolt, re-using your factory O-Ring.
Please see OBD1 wiring notes below if necessary.

**IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE**
Wiring: Many common OBD1 and OBD2 JDM engines do not have a VTEC Oil Pressure Switch. The corresponding JDM ECUs for these engines do not use the pressure switch, so this will not be an issue. However, when using a USDM ECU on a JDM or USDM engine that does not have a VTEC Oil Pressure Switch, you will encounter a problem with VTEC not engaging because the USDM ECU will not be receiving the signal from the VTEC Pressure Switch. The VTEC Oil Pressure Switch Wiring can be easily bypassed as follows:1) Locate the VTEC Oil Pressure Switch Plug on your engine harness (this wire comes from OBD1 ECU Pin D6).2) Simply TAP this wire into the VTEC Solenoid Valve Wire (the VTEC solenoid wire comes from OBD1 ECU Pin A4).**Do not cut the VTEC Solenoid Wire (A4), simply connect the VTEC Pressure Switch wire to it.3) Your ECU will now believe that it has a VTEC Oil Pressure Switch connected and your VTEC will now function properly.
