Sparco R383 Champion Steering Wheel, 330mm Black Leather with Red Stitching
The R383 Champion is Sparco's best-selling wheel, and it's an easy one to recommend. You get black perforated leather, contrasting red stitching, and a red center stripe at top dead center, the clean look most people picture when they think Sparco. It's a 330mm wheel built for street cars that see the occasional track day, with grip and feel that hold up to both.
The thing that sets the R383 apart from the more common R323 is the grip. It's a thicker rim with subtle thumb bumps at 10 and 2, so if you've ever found a thin-rim wheel disappearing in your hands, this is the one to grab. Bigger hands especially tend to prefer it. The perforated leather gives you a sure hold without the sweaty-palms feel of a smooth-leather rim.
Fitment and mounting
This is a universal 6-bolt wheel with a 70mm PCD bolt pattern, so it mounts to any standard 6-bolt hub or quick-release. That includes the hubs and bosses we carry from NRG and Circuit Hero, so you can build the whole setup in one order. You'll need a hub specific to your chassis to mount it, a wheel alone doesn't bolt to the column. A black Champion horn button is included.
