Designed for high-powered, modified engines that produce excessive blow-by gases, this advanced system separates and returns oil to the crankcase while venting clean air to the atmosphere. Unlike ordinary catch cans that require frequent maintenance, the AOS-R is a self-draining, service-free solution that prevents oil buildup in your intake, intercooler, and manifold.


The Radium Engineering AOS-R uses an innovative dual-stage internal design to capture oil vapors and contaminants before they can reach critical engine components. Its billet aluminum housing integrates coolant lines that heat the internal chamber, preventing condensation and sludge formation. This ensures reliable performance in all conditions, reducing the risk of oil contamination and extending the life of your engine oil. Perfect for turbocharged and naturally aspirated setups, this universal air oil separator helps improve combustion efficiency, reduce emissions, and maintain cleaner inlet air.


Featuring two 10AN ORB inlet ports, the VTA (Vent-to-Atmosphere) model is ideal for dual-bank engines, while single-vent engines can simply plug one port. The oversized outlet — over 183% larger than the 10AN inlets — slows airflow to let contaminants drop out of suspension, while an integrated diffuser traps oil particles and prevents overspray. The result is a free-flowing, unrestricted system that effectively separates oil mist from crankcase ventilation gases. Note: The VTA AOS-R is not recommended for mass-airflow (MAF) based engines due to the open vent design.

Installation Notes

For optimal performance, mount the AOS-R higher than the engine’s breather/return port to allow proper oil drainage. Ensure engine coolant is routed through the unit to maintain temperature and prevent condensation. In cold climates, use insulated sleeving over exposed hoses to prevent freezing and blockages.
