Hasport FG1RR Rear Engine Mount - 2006-2011 Honda Civic Non-Si (R18)
A worn rear mount lets the engine rock under load, and that movement costs you in ways you feel: wheel hop on launch, wandering axle geometry, and throttle response that's gone vague. The Hasport FG1RR replaces it with a polyurethane mount in the durometer you choose, designed specifically for the R18 rear position, so the engine stays planted and your power reaches the wheels instead of getting absorbed by mount flex.
Non-Si R18 Only, Not The Si
Check your trim before ordering, because the Si is a different car under the hood.
This fits the 2006-2011 Civic Non-Si with the R18 engine, covering the DX, EX, and LX trims in both coupe and sedan, manual or automatic. It does not fit the Si, which uses the K-series and a different mount entirely.
If your car is a DX, EX, or LX, you're in the right place. If it's an Si, this won't fit, so confirm your trim first.
What A Firm Rear Mount Does
Worth understanding, because the benefit is more than just replacing a worn part.
The rear mount is what stops the engine rotating backward under acceleration. When it's soft, whether from a firmer bushing being absent or a worn OEM rubber mount, the engine rocks, and everything attached to it moves with it.
Firming it up does several things at once: it cuts engine movement under hard acceleration for less wheel hop and more consistent launches, it holds your axle geometry where worn mounts let it wander, and it sharpens throttle response by keeping the drivetrain from rocking under load. And unlike OEM rubber, polyurethane holds its durometer for the life of the mount rather than softening and degrading over time.
Choose Your Durometer
This is the real decision, and it's a genuine tradeoff between firmness and comfort. A firmer bushing controls the engine better but transmits more vibration into the cabin. Pick based on how you actually use the car.
| Durometer | Best For | NVH |
|---|---|---|
| 62A | Daily driver or street/strip combo, the most comfortable poly option | Minimal increase over stock, still noticeably firmer |
| 70A | Weekend track days with occasional street miles | Moderate vibration at idle, fine for short commutes |
| 88A | Dedicated track car or time attack | High cabin vibration, best with all mounts matched |
| 94A | Drag or maximum-grip circuit builds | Maximum vibration, harsh for daily driving |
| 60A / 61A | Race-only builds with aggressive mounts throughout | Significant vibration, not recommended for street |
Simple rule: if the car gets driven to work even once a week, choose 62A or 70A. If it lives on a trailer between events, 88A or 94A is right. The 60/61A is race-only, for cars where every other mount is already firm.
Match Your Mounts For Track Builds
Worth knowing if you're going firm.
Hasport recommends matching all four mount positions to the same or similar durometer on track builds. A single firm mount among softer ones concentrates stress at that point, whereas a matched set spreads the load evenly and controls the drivetrain as a system.
So if you're fitting an 88A or 94A rear, plan to bring the other mounts up to match rather than running one hard mount against three soft ones.
Installation Notes
The rear mount supports the engine from below, so you'll need to support the engine before removing the old mount, with a jack or engine support.
If you're replacing only the rear mount, budget time to check your axle alignment after everything's torqued down, since a worn mount may have let things shift. And confirm you're on the Non-Si R18 chassis before you start, this doesn't swap onto the K-series Si platform.
Hasport Is The Standard
Hasport has been building engine mounts in the USA since 1994, every one CAD/CAM designed and manufactured in-house to a standard that's made them the name in Honda mounts for over 30 years.
The FG1RR carries Hasport's lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, the same warranty behind every mount they've shipped. Register your purchase on Hasport's site to activate it. On a mount, that kind of backing is the difference between a part you fit once and one you're revisiting.
Fitment
2006-2011 Honda Civic Non-Si DX, EX, and LX (R18), coupe and sedan
Manual and automatic. Does not fit Si models.
Who Should Grab This
This is for the R18 Civic owner whose rear mount has gone soft and who wants the engine properly located again, whether that's for a better-launching street car or a track build. A poly mount in the firmness you choose, made for the R18 rear position, with a lifetime warranty behind it. Pick your durometer based on how you drive, support the engine before you start, and get the drivetrain planted.
