What This Kit Does
This mount kit repositions and secures a J-Series V6 (J30A, J32A, J35A) inside the EK Civic engine bay. The brackets are robotically welded and laser-cut from steel for consistent geometry every time. Engine placement is engineered to maintain correct axle alignment, which is critical on a swap this size - get it wrong and you are fighting CV angles and vibration for the life of the build.
EKJ1 vs. EKJ2 - Which Kit Do You Need?
- EKJ1 (Non-Adjustable): Fixed engine height. Works with the stock EK front subframe and suspension. This is the straightforward choice for most builds where exhaust clearance and hood clearance are not a concern.
- EKJ2 (Dual Height): Two mounting positions let you raise or lower the engine to dial in exhaust routing, transmission clearance, or hood fitment. Requires a 1992-1995 Honda Civic (EG) front subframe and suspension. If you are running a J-Series with an Accord or Acura TL transmission and need extra clearance, this is the version to get.
Note on EKJ2: The dual height kit requires swapping in a 92-95 Civic (EG) front subframe and suspension. This is not a bolt-in subframe swap - plan this into your build timeline and budget before ordering.

Not sure which durometer to pick? As a general rule: if the car sees any street miles, stay at 62A or below. If it is a dedicated race or drag car, 88A, 94A, or solid aluminum are the correct choices.
